About The Position

The Loader Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks to provide production support for WI operations. They typically use motorized equipment such as a front-end loader, yard truck, haul truck.

Requirements

• Knowledge of operating heavy equipment
• Certification in loader and forklift operation- Training and certification are provided on site
• Able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive, and able to work with others
• Data entry, math and computer skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Participate in mandatory stretching exercise program
• Follow all safety regulations
• Inspect all equipment before operation
• Load stone bunkers for saws
• Shuttle bunkers in/out of production facility
• Unload stone blocks from semi trailers
• Load / Unload stone for the custom saw production facility
• Use the yard truck to move finished trailers
• Shuttle stone stock from the quarry to the production facility using the yard truck and trailers
• Organize and maintain custom saw production facility stock yard
• Load gravel trucks using front end loader
• Weigh stacks of stone slabs on truck scale
• Shuttle roll off truck containers (full & empty) in/out of production facility
• Push up and maintain scrap pile and haul ramp
• Quarry stone in Chilton as needed
• Cross train to serve as a backup to various other loader operators positions
• Snow plowing
• Other duties as assigned
