About The Position

Inspect equipment daily, make minor adjustments, and request repairs in writing to the mechanic. Load, unload, re-arrange, and maneuver heavy duty forklift. Read stock numbers on a computer screen and verify the stock number and vehicle information (Make/Model, Color) directly from vehicle before loading onto forks. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management. May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment required.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required.
  • Must pass OSHA forklift/heavy equipment training and certification program, with re-certification required every 3 yrs.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to stoop, crouch and climb.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
