About The Position

Create, update, and maintain front-end experiences for team products, tools, and/or applications. Design, develop, and improve user-facing features and components for the team’s products in a way that’s maintainable in the long term. Participate in engineering software design and user experience discussions. Identify root causes for front-end issues and resolve them. Use and apply appropriate programming paradigms and front-end software design patterns. Conduct code reviews. Mentor junior engineers. 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $165,200/year to $223,600/year. Amazon is a total compensation company. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Must have two years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) Building web applications and components; (2) experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue; (3) experience with responsive web design, media queries, and delivering functionality across devices and platforms, and (4) developing rich applications with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integrating with REST APIs.
