Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Six months cashier experience at the Customer Service Desk.
• Minimum age of 18 years (19 in Idaho and Alaska for selling tobacco).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
• Related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and process sales at the Customer Service Desk.
• Demonstrate the company's core values in all interactions.
• Perform cashier functions including opening/closing the register, ringing sales, and completing tender transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and respond to customer inquiries.
• Comply with all corporate policies and promote company initiatives.
• Verify Electronic Article Surveillance Tags are deactivated or removed from products at point of sale.
• Maintain all store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits of excess funds.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, and transfers at the Customer Service Desk.
• Provide lottery services and administer lost and found.
• Run vendor reports and assist with various customer service tasks.
