About The Position

Front Desk- greeting and assisting residents and visitors and maintaining a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities often include logging visitors in and out, answering phones, taking messages, and conducting rounds to observe and report any issues. Some positions may also require janitorial support, report safety concerns, and observing policy violations. These individuals are responsible for answering phones, assisting visitors, receiving deliveries, and aiding residents. The ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and de-escalate conflicts is important.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness preferred; effectively communicate with others both in writing and orally; ability to maintain professional boundaries; basic computer literacy required.
  • Bilingual abilities a plus

Responsibilities

  • Undertake front desk daily duties.
  • Keep records of arrivals and departure of residents
  • Attend to residents needs and concerns in a friendly and cordial manner.
  • Ensure that residents follow all in-house rules and policies.
  • Monitor security video cameras and reports to administration unusual activities.
  • Answer calls in a polite, friendly manner and forward calls or take messages as needed.
  • Accept packages and sort out daily mail.
  • Be aware and sensitive to the cultural and social population served.
