About The Position
BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for the safety of aquatic participants by observing the pool and program participants to assure that safe conditions exist. Maintain professional conduct and a neat appearance consistent with the Aquatic Dress Policy. Maintain an alert and observant behavior at all times. Be aware of the YMCA programs and schedules and willingly share the information with participants. Promote the YMCA mission. Attend trainings and meetings when scheduled. Be a positive example of the YMCA to the members and participants. Perform all other functions as assigned, relative to the welfare of the association.
