About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor assists in the checking-in and out of hotel guests, takes reservations, and addresses guest needs during their stay at the resort. This position supervises the front desk area and ensures that all guest needs are met to the standards of the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years' experience in the field or related area.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior customer service, team-building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Basic computer software skills required.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing personalized services.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of the surrounding area and local attractions.
  • Ability to handle high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Front Desk Agents and ensure guest needs are met.
  • Assist in checking in and out of hotel guests.
  • Take reservations for the hotel.
  • Provide guests with directions or information about the venue.
  • Act upon guest complaints in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Schedule the Concierge and manage special needs of guests.
  • Make key cards for hotel guests.
  • Keep a clean work station at all times.
  • Perform duties at maximum speed and efficiency when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Support achievement of quality goals and suggest improvements.
