About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor. The front desk supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our hotel's front desk. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, supervising the front desk staff, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a front office supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality role
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems
  • Experience working in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Certification in hotel management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to all guests.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
  • Assist Front Desk scheduling and managing staff availability
  • Achieve proficiency in all front desk systems
  • Monitor guest communications and requests sent via OTA channels and ensure inquiries are replied to in a timely manner
  • Review daily checklists and pass-on. Take prompt action on items that need attention
  • Resolve billing issues
  • Resolve inventory / overbooking issues
  • Oversee the lobby marketplace, ensuring it is well-stocked and maintained per brand standards
  • Ensure consistent adherence brand standards (GSA uniforms, lobby music levels, scent, lighting, amenities, etc.)
  • Be proficient on all GSA shifts. Provide coverage in the event of staff call outs.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by management
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security policies
