Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will provide: Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guestsTransmits and receives telephone messagesAnswers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guestsKeeps records of room availability and guest's accountsComputes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guestsMakes and confirms reservationsPrepares daily reports (credit limit, cash)Reviews daily arrivals and departuresCoordinates with housekeeping when VIP Guests arriveTraining all new Front Desk personnelTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic. Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • 1+ Year in a supervisory role in a hospitality setting

Responsibilities

  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests
  • Transmits and receives telephone messages
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests
  • Keeps records of room availability and guest's accounts
  • Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests
  • Makes and confirms reservations
  • Prepares daily reports (credit limit, cash)
  • Reviews daily arrivals and departures
  • Coordinates with housekeeping when VIP Guests arrive
  • Training all new Front Desk personnel
