The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for coordinating day to day activities of the front desk, gift shop, call center, bell and reservation staff Possess knowledge of hotel front office and retail operations. The Front Desk Supervisor will interview, hire, train, discipline, schedule and evaluate work performance of team members. Review and approve payroll. Supervise hourly team members in hotel front office and retail areas. The Front Desk Supervisor will communicate with team members, guests, and management while achieving high level of guest satisfaction. Adequately resolve guest complaints Possess knowledge of and utilize the POS, LMS and casino systems as designed. Assess situations and comply with recovery guidelines as set by the department. Handle cash and credit card transactions. The Front Desk Supervisor will oversee the implementation of changes to systems, operation and policy. Must be able to perform clerk functions in hotel and retail. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and be able to sit/stand for long periods of time. Review, audit and maintain billing system, equipment and supplies. Properly receive and document shipments with purchase requisitions. Ensure items are properly tagged for retail. Ensure displays are refreshed frequently and create inviting environments. Analyze inventory levels and order as needed. Inspect for quality and expiration dates and completed damage loss documentation as needed. Develop and implement promotional programs for turnover and increased sales.
