FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Front Desk Supervisors have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

Requirements

  • Three to twelve months of previous Reservations and/or Front Office experience required.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
  • Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Weekend availably is required

  • Opera experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Run daily reports for Front Desk department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing, General Manager & Department Head.
  • Checks in guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible.
  • Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged.
  • Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room.
  • Issues correct keys to the guest.
  • Oversees the Front Desk operations and responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests.
  • This role will cover both manager and agent shifts.
  • Ensure revenue is maximized by upselling guest rooms based on availability
  • Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel.
  • Makes change, cashes checks, and exchanges foreign currency.
  • Reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift.
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
  • Assist Front Desk Managers with scheduling, overseeing daily tasks, managing team performance and coverage, as well as other managerial duties
