About The Position

The Front Office team plays a key role in shaping the guest experience by providing seamless check-ins, warm welcomes, and professional service throughout every guest stay. Job Summary: The Front Desk Supervisor at Black Desert Resort oversees daily front desk operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and guest-focused experience. This position supervises front desk agents, supports training and development, and resolves guest issues with professionalism and care. Acting as a leader on the floor, the Front Desk Supervisor maintains high service standards, coordinates with other departments, and assists the Front Office Manager with administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in front desk or guest services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and front office operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead a team while maintaining a hands-on, service-oriented approach.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous luxury resort or hospitality experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations at the front desk, ensuring efficient check-in, check-out, and guest service processes.
  • Train, coach, and mentor front desk agents to uphold Black Desert Resort service standards.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for guest issues, handling concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Ensure accurate handling of reservations, room assignments, billing, and cashiering functions.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, occupancy, special events, and VIP arrivals.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
  • Monitor guest service scores and assist in implementing improvements.
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and daily shift coverage.
  • Audit front desk procedures for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Support the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks including training documentation and reporting.
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
