About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences at Lake Quinault Lodge. This position oversees daily front desk operations, supervises and trains staff, and acts as a liaison between guests and various departments. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-driven, and thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment.   This is a seasonal position.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in front office operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with property management systems and auditing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk activities, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager and Operations Manager, handling escalated guest concerns and operational decisions.
  • Train, coach, and support front desk team members to maintain high service standards and compliance with lodge policies.
  • Address and resolve guest feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Prepare staff schedules based on occupancy trends; conduct audits and generate reports related to billing and front office performance.
  • Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and company standards across all front desk operations.
