About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor coordinates front office activities and provides support to the AGM/FOM. This role ensures smooth operations, excellent customer service, and accurate financial processes.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous hotel front desk experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and accounting knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
  • Comfortable speaking to guests and conducting meetings.
  • Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be on call when away from work.

Responsibilities

  • Always ensure outstanding customer care.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor.
  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel policies, services, and reservations.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Supervise daily shift processes and ensure team adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Train, direct, and coach front desk team members.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Ensure all billing instructions and financial transactions are accurately processed.
  • Cover front desk shifts as needed.
  • Correspond with group and travel agents regarding special requests.
  • Assist with sales and marketing efforts.
  • Allocate rooms based on guest preferences and special requests.
  • Maintain updated front office and hotel logbooks.
  • Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by AGM/FOM.
  • Control cash transactions and maintain responsibility for personal bank.
  • Ensure billing instructions are verified, and all necessary supporting documents are attached.
  • Adhere to company credit limit policies.
  • Cross-check all billing instructions for accuracy.
  • Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.
