About The Position

At Four Seasons Hotel Nashville the Front Desk Supervisor plays a vital role in delivering the exceptional guest experience that defines our brand. This role oversees Front Desk operations and serves as the Night Supervisor relief for two (2) night shifts per week, ensuring consistent leadership and seamless service across all hours of operation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Front Desk, Guest Services, or hotel operations; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel systems (Opera or similar PMS preferred).
  • Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A positive, team‑oriented attitude and a commitment to delivering the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Front Desk operations and serve as the Night Supervisor relief for two (2) overnight shifts each week, ensuring smooth and consistent overnight performance.
  • Check in guests efficiently and accurately, ensuring correct room assignment, proper rate setup, key issuance, and coordination of luggage delivery.
  • Check out guests at the end of their stay, confirming satisfaction, posting charges, processing payments, and presenting accurate billing.
  • Handle guest interactions professionally, including service recovery, special requests, and inquiries regarding hotel services, local information, and general assistance—both in person and by phone.
  • Provide Concierge‑level guest engagement, offering personalized recommendations, guidance, and enhanced service.
  • Maintain an accurate and balanced cash bank, process currency transactions, and reconcile all financial activity at the end of each shift.
  • Utilize hotel systems and technology to check guests in and out, run reports, block rooms, and manage guest profiles.
  • Ensure compliance with Four Seasons’ EmPact Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Support non-essential duties as needed, including lobby coverage, coordination with Bell Staff, and basic in‑room technology troubleshooting.
