About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor at Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office, ensuring high standards of guest service and team performance. This role involves supervising staff, assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining quality standards in line with company policies. The position also includes training new team members and managing various administrative tasks related to guest registration and billing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior related experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and service skills.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and think on their feet.
  • 3+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Prior management/supervisory experience is advantageous.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree/College education.
  • 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Front Office daily operations.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Greet and welcome owners/guests upon arrival.
  • Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information.
  • Promote Hilton Grand Vacation services and provide recognition and benefits to members.
  • Train and direct new department team members.
  • Ensure all Front Office quality standards are aligned and policies are consistently applied.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to the team.
  • Maintain a house bank and accurately report daily receipts.
  • Supervise the accurate sequences of events for guest registration and check-out.
  • Assign specific tasks to subordinates related to credit, registration cards, and overall cleanliness of the front desk.
  • Post miscellaneous charges as requested.
  • Maintain a daily log of guest opportunities with corrective action steps.
  • Follow up on unresolved situations and communicate with other managers/supervisors.
  • Follow up on credit opportunities during each shift.
