About The Position

The position coordinates the front office activities of the hotel and provides support to the General Manager by performing various duties. The role involves supervising front desk staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining operational standards.

Requirements

  • 0-1+ year of customer service experience
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Ability to answer and route calls appropriately
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Open availability

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates front office activities of the hotel
  • Provides support to the General Manager
  • Supervises front desk staff consisting of 1-5 employees
  • Interviews, hires, and trains employees
  • Plans, assigns, and directs work for front desk personnel
  • Appraises performance and addresses complaints
  • Maintains accurate records including cash flow sheets and registration cards
  • Corresponds with group and travel agents regarding special requests
  • Assists with sales and marketing efforts
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services
  • Performs functions of the General Manager in their absence
  • Assists General Manager in conducting staff meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
