About The Position

GENERAL PURPOSE Assists in the operation of the front desk. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the general direction of the Front Desk Supervisor/Coordinator, and the specific direction of the Front Desk Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must consistently provide the utmost hospitality experience with all patrons and guests of the Community Center. Interacts with customers and signs them up as new members. Conducts tours throughout the Community Center Must be knowledgeable with pricing, membership information.

Requirements

  • Any combination of training and experience, which will indicate possession of the skills, knowledge and abilities, listed below.
  • 1-year experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical skills and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in situations.
  • Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
  • Able to be courteous to fellow employees.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and perform well under pressure.
  • Cashier experience.
  • Communicating, (talking, hearing, and seeing) is essential to job effectiveness.
  • Common eye, hand, and finger dexterity exist.
  • Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, discriminating thinking and creative problem solving.
