Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year experience working in a medical/business office setting with strong customer service.
- Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with medical terminology, electronic medical records and scheduling systems preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the efficient, productive, and professional operation of the front office.
- Greets and welcomes patients for their exams. Works with patients after admission to receive imaging order and completes order entry into the Meditech system.
- Verifies the diagnosis codes for accuracy.
- Maintaining non-clinical supplies and receiving/documenting patient payments.
- Comfortable working with about 100 patients throughout the day.
