More about our team Wilson Immediate Care provides services for a wide variety of needs including care for sudden and ongoing illnesses, minor acute injuries, MRO services, on-site X-Ray and lab services, and more. Our physicians have a combined 80+ years of experience and all are board certified in Internal or Family Medicine. How you’ll contribute The Clinic Office Assistant works alongside Providers and clinical staff performing front-office clerical duties. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while supporting daily clinic operations including scheduling, insurance verification, communication, and administrative functions. We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of clinic or medical office experience preferred
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for education
  • Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients and visitors in a professional manner
  • Assist patients with initial paperwork and registration
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments
  • Answer multi-line phones and manage front desk communications
  • Gather and verify insurance information
  • Process insurance claims in compliance with legal requirements
