IST Management is actively seeking a Front Desk / Receptionist to join our team in Medford, MA ! Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a professional office setting, possess excellent communication abilities, are well versed in customer service and/or hospitality services, and are ready to take advantage of internal opportunities at IST Management for training and development toward advancement into management roles. This role will be responsible for fostering a professional and pleasant working environment by providing excellent customer service in the fields of general office services, hospitality, reception and facilities coordination. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.   • Professional and friendly customer service; verbal and written interaction with internal and external clients
  • Greet clients and visitors, create security badges, direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
  • Conference Room Management (booking and reception services, setting up/breakdowns for meetings, catering assistance, other related tasks as needed)
  • Mailroom services, shipping and receiving, light facilities services including vendor management
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines; take direction from supervisor
  • Participate in cross-training; Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; high attention to detail
  • Adhere to all safety procedures; perform other tasks as assigned
  • High School Diploma or GED required; authorization to work for any employer in the US required
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required and may be tested
  • Familiarity with MS Teams
  • Possess prior hospitality or customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; willingness to cross-train for other job functions
  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion/as needed
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Prior experience in a reception or administrative role is a huge plus!
