Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using multi-line phone systems and electronic health record (EHR) or practice management software.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate attitude toward patients and their families.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties related to daily front office operations, including updating and organizing patient information in charts.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries and requests from patients, caregivers, and staff.
  • Answer multiline telephones efficiently and professionally, directing calls as appropriate.
  • Maintain appointment scheduling through the Electronic Practice Management (EPM) system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to patient records, data entry, and other front desk responsibilities as needed.
