About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and demonstrate empathy and understanding towards clients.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider appointment calendars efficiently.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Process payments and insurance information accurately.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff as needed.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
