About The Position
The Optometric Tech position at Epic Vision involves coordinating scheduling and patient care needs with the doctor, answering a multi-line phone system, updating insurance information, and obtaining insurance authorizations. The role also includes leading patients through and assisting in the eye exam pretesting, performing patient prescreening analysis, and eyeglass sales and patient assistance. The Optometric Tech must conform to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality while performing other duties as assigned.
