Responsibilities include greeting and welcoming clients and visitors, checking clients in and out on the electronic health record system, answering phones, taking messages, and transferring calls as needed. The role also involves performing general office duties such as scanning, faxing, and making copies, scheduling appointments for clients, assisting with processing referrals, and providing prescribers with both in-person and virtual support. The receptionist will also assist with daily scheduling outreach, processing prior authorizations, facilitating medical records requests, and maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
