As the face of our stores, Receptionists at America's Best are responsible for greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly manner as soon as they arrive at the store. This role is crucial in ensuring that customers feel valued and attended to from the moment they step through the door. Receptionists keep organized patient records and help patient schedules flow smoothly, acting as the glue to our operations and helping everyone to stay on track. The role provides prompt, courteous service to customers either on the phone or in person, ensuring a high-quality customer experience while adhering to all safety protocols. In addition to greeting customers, Receptionists ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store. They answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol, providing customers with basic and accurate information. Receptionists are also responsible for processing and understanding managed care plans, obtaining necessary document information from insurance companies as needed. They schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes, ensuring that all patient records are filed daily and that patient files for the next day's appointments are readily available. Receptionists check order statuses and notify customers when orders are in or if there are any delays. They maintain a tidy and presentable reception area with all necessary materials, receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, and keep an inventory of office supplies. Participation in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings is also a key aspect of the role, ensuring that all team members are aligned and informed about store operations.
