About The Position

Mercy Community Healthcare is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Front Desk Associate in Lewisburg, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve in our community. What Is This Job All About? Making a great first impression when you greet our patients. Collecting appropriate information and data. Verifying insurance coverage including but not limited to copay/deductible payments. Collecting appropriate payments. Directing patients to the appropriate area of the clinic. Scheduling appointments. Answering phones. Schedule will be Mon-Thurs from 8 AM - 7 PM.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a high-volume office doing data entry and medical office management preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Organizational skills including task prioritization and time management.
  • Excellent communication both on the phone and in person.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and leverage interpersonal skills to meet the needs of patients.
  • Dedication to teamwork.
  • Consistent dependability and personal initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English highly preferred
