Requirements

  • Previous 2+ years of Front Desk Manager experience in a branded hotel environment
  • College degree or coursework in hospitality related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack)
  • Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy with effective and influential people skills.
  • Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Reliable with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Full availability is required, must be able to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • In this role you will be responsible for the training, coaching, and daily operations of guest services for the hotel.
  • This includes the front desk, reservations, and audit as well as general guest services working side-by-side with the team daily.
  • This position helps to set the tone for the guest experience and demonstrates leadership by setting the example of exceptional guest service.
  • As Front Desk Manager, you will work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments and independently.
  • The person in this key role is exceptional in communicating and coordinating work efforts with their team and others to achieve outstanding guest and team member satisfaction throughout the hotel.
  • Performs quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
