Summary: Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Team on all employee matters. Requirements

  • This position requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administration role
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive, polished professional with exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to represent the department with confidence and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to stay composed and effective in high-pressure situations
  • Proficient with office equipment including scanners, copiers, and printers

Responsibilities

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests, inquiries, and questions both in person and over the phone
  • Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests, track HR compliance items and process paperwork
  • Supports MLB credentialing for events
  • Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Makes photocopies, mass printing jobs, scans documents and performs other clerical functions
  • Files/scan papers and documents into the appropriate employee files using shared drive
  • Prepare and create new employee files
  • Creating standard operating procedures
  • Support with large-scale orientations
  • Processes office mail
  • Managing office bulletin boards
  • Responsible for ensuring the office is clean, tidy, decorated, and stocked
  • Track office supply inventory and submit office supply orders
  • Support with HR employee engagement initiatives
  • Assists all managers with misc. projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned
