Bay Area Retina Associates is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for the following: Check patients in; update demographic and insurance information, collect signatures as needed. Check out and make follow-up appointments. Answer telephones and make appointments via computer scheduling. Schedule maintenance and upkeep. Relay phone messages to the doctors in a timely manner. Check eligibility, obtain authorizations, process referrals, drug inventory. Cash handling and end of day reconciliation, collect copays and balances. Perform recalls Sort mail and faxes Assist with rooming, rinsing, and numbing patients, as needed. Other Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by Clinical Operations Manager, or physician.
