About The Position

Key Responsibilities for a Pediatric Office Patient Interaction: Greet and check in patients, manage new patient paperwork, and maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the waiting area. Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments to maximize clinic productivity and minimize wait times. Billing & Insurance: Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, file insurance claims, and collect patient co-payments at the time of service. Record Maintenance: Update electronic dental records (EDR) with accurate medical histories, treatment plans, and contact information while strictly adhering to HIPAA confidentiality standards. Office Operations: Handle multi-line telephone systems, manage incoming/outgoing mail, order office supplies, and coordinate referrals to specialists. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent. Dental experience is a plus. Communication & Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy for anxious patients, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment -Bilingual a plus!
