About The Position

Looking for a career that makes you smile? We’re seeking a Front Desk Coordinator II to join our growing team. How you’ll make us better: Greets and receives customers, determines nature of visit, and notifies appropriate team member(s). Performs various administrative duties. Welcomes visitors to the practice and provides information about clinic features Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls and takes messages as needed Checks-in and collects general information from patients on their first visit Notifies clinicians of patient arrival and readiness Makes appointments for returning patients as necessary Prints/reprints appointment reminders and school/work excuses Verifies insurance information, investigates any issues, and works towards a resolution Makes changes to the patient schedule as necessary Presents contracts to patients, coordinates payment arrangements and/or account resolution Receives, stores, and delivers shipments and mail Takes payments and posts to account Updates charts and patient information Drives internal marketing initiatives and fosters participation from everyone Consistently encourages/presents patients with non-clinical ways to utilize the Smile Doctors Anywhere application to support their experience throughout the course of treatment Communicates office supply requirements to the Practice Director for monthly supply order

Requirements

  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to listen and understand information verbally and in writing
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Six (6) months as a Smile Doctors Front Desk Coordinator I

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual a plus, but not required
