About The Position

greeting visitors, managing reservations, and providing customer service: Check-in and check-out: Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out Security: Provide security and control to the front door area Customer service: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and polite manner Administrative tasks: Process bills, maintain records, and perform other administrative duties Office management: Maintain a clean and organized reception area, stock office supplies, and receive deliveries Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, and facilitate correspondence with customers Reservations: Manage reservations and appointments Some skills and qualifications that are often sought for front desk positions include: Verbal communication Customer service Problem-solving Organizational and multi-tasking abilities Proficiency in English Familiarity with office machines Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping High school diploma or GED
