About The Position

The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for the operation of the front desk at their designated Club site and serve as the primary receptionist for that site during afternoon program hours. This position will greet all Club visitors, control access to secure front entrances, take attendance of youth club members, ensure safe daily check out of club members, and perform light data entry in membership software.

Responsibilities

  • Collect Membership Fees when appropriate.
  • Answer telephones, providing general information, referring callers to other staff or taking messages as necessary.
  • Ensure daily attendance is taken upon child’s arrival as well as upon pick up/delivery home and ensure attendance sheets are turned into the Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Clerk in a timely manner.
  • May use data tracking systems to track the average daily attendance (ADA) of participants.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to parents and community stakeholders representing the Boys & Girls Club.
  • Provide safe and well-coordinated checkout of all Club members daily.
  • Perform other related administrative or member relations duties as requested.
