The Front Desk Clerk at the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests upon their arrival and throughout their stay. This role involves working closely with various hotel teams, including housekeeping and guest services, to ensure a seamless experience for guests. The clerk will handle reservations, check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and maintain the organization of the front desk area while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Greet all customers of the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel.
  • Make reservations and check guests in and out of the hotel.
  • Make room assignments based on requests and availability.
  • Process payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service while following departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of company information.
  • Maintain knowledge of rates, promotions, and room furnishings.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all transactions and ending bank are accurate.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the front desk area.
  • Document all guest requests and concerns for proper handling.
  • Deliver additional guest supplies as needed.
  • Defer customer concerns to the Front Desk Lead or Hotel Manager.
  • Attend all required meetings, trainings, and workshops.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
  • Coeur d'Alene Tribal gaming license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Six months of previous related experience preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • At least six months of previous cashiering experience required.
  • Computer skills/knowledge required; keyboarding is a heavy portion of the position.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word operations preferred.
  • Ability to manage conflict and influence outcomes preferred.
  • Adept at multi-tasking and developing solutions in ambiguous situations.
