The Front Desk Clerk responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing online and telephone bookings, and verifying guests' payment methods during check-in. This position is primarily indoors on casino resort property. An individual will be exposed to secondhand smoke and loud noise in areas of the casino and resort property. This position constantly comes in contact with staff, guests, and the general public. An individual must be able to stand for eight hours or more. This position constantly uses a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, telephone and copy machine. An individual must be able to operate these devices and position self to use this equipment.
