Established in 1947, the Company boasts 70-plus years in the industry. Top-notch Front Desk Associate needed for The Highlands, conveniently located in the heart of Chevy Chase, MD. The right candidate must have 2-4 years of customer service experience. In addition, the candidate must have a working knowledge of current housing laws, communication and interpersonal skills, and accounting/computer skills. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and guests of the property. The Front Desk Associate will also assist in property operations, including facilitating tenant maintenance requests and ensuring building security. The position requires an outgoing, organized, and customer-service-oriented professional who is great at multi-tasking and who enjoys working with people.

Requirements

  • Prior customer service is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and delegate
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner and to effectively communicate with all levels of management, owners, vendors, and community staff.
  • Ability to efficiently handle and coordinate multiple tasks and project assignments
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor in emergency situations
  • Prolonged walking and standing
  • Thorough Background investigations will be conducted prior to hiring.
