Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year dental front desk or assisting experience
Strong customer service background
Comfortable with treatment plan presentation and financial discussions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Professional, positive, and patient-focused demeanor

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and check in patients for their appointments
Verify patient demographics and maintain accurate records
Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
Confirm, schedule, and adjust appointments to ensure smooth daily patient flow
Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and ensure proper financial documentation
Present treatment plan financial options clearly and confidently
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
Update patient charts, import and organize X-rays, and maintain digital records
Process referrals, send documentation to specialists, and ensure proper follow-through
Support clinical team with administrative coordination as needed
