The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for members and guests, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive, welcoming environment. This role handles administrative and sales tasks, responds to inquiries across communication platforms, supports gym cleanliness, and helps ensure a smooth and engaging member experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and inquiries simultaneously.
  • Willingness to collaborate with peers and management.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and schedule changes.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
  • Basic understanding of gym operations and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • fitness or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and social media messages promptly and accurately.
  • Engage with members to build rapport and address questions, concerns, or feedback.
  • Maintain a friendly, helpful, and customer-focused attitude at all times.
  • Conduct gym tours for prospective members, promoting club features and benefits.
  • Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Communicate current promotions, programs, and services to prospects and members.
  • Upsell additional services or memberships when appropriate.
  • Ensure all membership paperwork and transactions are processed accurately.
  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and professional.
  • Adhere to safety, security, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks for gym equipment.
  • Provide basic guidance to members on equipment use and safe workout techniques.
  • Support overall cleanliness and order of the club environment.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the success of the broader business objectives.
