About The Position

The Front Desk Agent at Embassy Suites Irvine Orange County Airport is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during their stay. This role involves greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns. The position requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate records and cash handling procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Must have high school graduate level mathematical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Ability to deal with the public and handle customer service issues effectively.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and completes established check-in procedures for arriving guests.
  • Facilitates guest departure (check-out) by following established procedures.
  • Calculates and posts monies, receipts, and guest accounts using cash handling methods.
  • Answers inquiries and accepts reservations in person and by telephone.
  • Maintains good customer relations by staying informed about in-house and area functions.
  • Operates PBX equipment to assist with incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains personal bank responsibility.
  • Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
