About The Position

The Front Desk Agent at HomeTowne Studios & Suites by Red Roof is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is crucial in maintaining guest satisfaction and supporting the overall operations of the hotel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year in a previous customer service position.
  • Must have basic office skills (math, cash handling, computer skills, etc.).
  • Basic English communication (verbal and written) skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly greeting and smile while performing all guest-related services.
  • Handle reservations requests; check guests in/out; handle guest accounting and cashier functions.
  • Make, change, and monitor reservations; review and report rate availability using the front desk computer system; update and monitor room status; promote future sales.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Communicate with the General Manager and other Front Desk Representatives about problems, requests, and/or concerns regarding guests and rooms.
  • Work with housekeeping to communicate checkouts, stay-overs, sleepers, skips, rooms cleaned, and rooms in need of maintenance.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
