The Residence Inn Pittsburgh North Shore is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for managing all front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of service and hospitality, contributing to the overall positive experience of our guests. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, and your role will involve a variety of tasks. You will efficiently check guests in and out, process payments, and manage guest accounts. It is crucial to be knowledgeable about the hotel’s amenities, room types, and rates, as well as any ongoing promotions or loyalty programs. You will also be responsible for handling guest mail and messages, ensuring that all requests are addressed promptly. In addition to guest interactions, the Front Desk Agent will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area. You will be expected to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff. The role may also require assisting other hotel departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as the ability to stand for long periods. The Front Desk Agent must also adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and safety standards. This position offers a full-time schedule with shifts that may include days, nights, and weekends, providing a dynamic work environment.
