About The Position

The Woodstock Inn & Resort, a beloved New England destination, is seeking Front Desk Agents. This role is responsible for all Guest Services functions, including greeting and registering guests, answering inquiries, making and modifying reservations, providing outstanding service throughout their stay, and settling accounts upon departure. The resort offers elegant accommodations in the iconic village of Woodstock, Vermont, with 142 rooms and suites reflecting Vermont's signature style.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Three months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club required
  • Amazing interpersonal abilities
  • Top-of-the-line organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Amazing time management skills
  • Incredibly detail oriented
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SMS Host & Microsoft Office is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out of their rooms
  • Answer any questions guests have
  • Make recommendations for activities and restaurants
  • Answer the phone and direct the call
  • Take reservations on the phone
  • Maintain the record of guests that have checked in and out
