About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team for the evening shift. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing excellent guest service, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and ensuring guests have a pleasant stay.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel management systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and departure
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
  • Address guest concerns or complaints and escalate issues when necessary
  • Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
  • Complete end-of-shift reports and pass information to the next shift
