About The Position

Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression. Efficiently register guests upon arrival, verifying identification and processing payments according to hotel policies. Assign rooms based on reservations and guest preferences (when possible). Issue room keys/access cards and explain hotel amenities and services (Wi-Fi access, restaurant hours, etc.). Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, offering local recommendations and resolving any issues that may arise. Manage cash drawers, ensuring accurate financial transactions and following proper security protocols. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance. Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate guest records within the hotel's Property Management System (PMS). Collaborate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. May be required to answer phones, take messages, and assist with wake-up calls. Uphold all company policies and procedures, ensuring guest safety and security.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality or customer service (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • A positive and friendly attitude with a genuine desire to provide exceptional guest service.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
