About The Position

Cragun’s Resort on Gull Lake is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join their caring family. The front desk team serves as the first and last point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and heartfelt farewell, and ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated during their stay. This role is crucial in making lasting memories for guests. The resort is looking for friendly, organized, and self-motivated individuals who genuinely have a passion for guest service and can thrive in a dynamic environment. While working in hospitality can be demanding, it is also incredibly rewarding. Cragun’s believes in the power of hard work, teamwork, family, and fun, and aims to create unforgettable experiences for guests in the Lakes Area.

Requirements

• A positive, “Guest First” attitude, fueled by a true passion for customer service.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to manage the busy pace of the front desk.
• A friendly, professional, and enthusiastic demeanor that uplifts everyone's spirits.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone, as it’s an important part of connecting with our guests.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality experience is a bonus but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and register guests upon their arrival, making them feel at home.
• Be attentive to special requests and do our best to accommodate them.
• Efficiently manage guest check-ins and check-outs to ensure a smooth experience.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with care, adhering to proper cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate room status and tracking, always keeping our guests' needs at heart.
• Provide insightful information about room types, rates, and resort amenities to guide our guests in making informed choices.
• Offer options and alternatives to ensure every guest’s needs are met.
• Ensure the security of guest room keys with a focus on trust and safety.
• Answer guest inquiries and resolve any concerns with professionalism and empathy.
