About The Position

A Kolter Hospitality Gallery Host delivers service excellence to our guests, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position is responsible for processing check-ins and check-outs, issuing room keys, and resolving guest issues while complying with all Kolter Hospitality and Hyatt Place standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves coordinating all guest requests, informing guests of hotel services, features, and room amenities, and welcoming guests by name whenever possible. Additionally, the host prepares, sets up, stocks, takes down, cleans, and provides quality beverages and food products, adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. They are also responsible for setting up and breaking down meeting spaces and preparing food for meetings/events. The position requires following the hotel’s rate structures, discounts, and sell/upsell strategies, performing cashiering tasks like bill/invoice settlement, posting charges, and adjustments. The host must also know and carry out specified duties in response to fire alarms, guest medical emergencies, and security threats, cancel room reservations according to policy, report any items in need of repair, and follow all safety procedures while working. Requirements

  • Able to work most weekends and holidays.
  • Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
  • No prior experience required.
  • No specific education required.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling.
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience in Hospitality a plus.

Responsibilities
