Requirements

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to stay calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • A professional, polished presence
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays
  • Day, evening, and overnight shifts available
  • Fast-paced, guest-facing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Opera or similar property management systems (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a memorable first impression
  • Manage check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and care
  • Ensure every guest interaction reflects Sonesta’s commitment to excellence
  • Process payments, post charges, and manage guest accounts securely
  • Issue room keys and safe deposit boxes
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and financial transactions
  • Support reservation changes, cancellations, and new bookings
  • Promote room upgrades and hotel services to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, dining, and local attractions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to fulfill guest requests
  • Stay informed on hotel offerings, promotions, and local events
  • Support overall front office operations and team success
