About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while efficiently handling check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest requests. This role represents the hotel’s first and last impression and ensures all guests receive friendly, accurate, and timely service consistent with Hampton standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a warm, professional manner.
  • Process check-ins and check-outs accurately using the hotel PMS.
  • Handle reservations, room assignments, and billing transactions.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby area.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
  • Assist with night audit or additional tasks as assigned.
