About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for processing check-ins/outs, securing payment, verifying and adjusting billing, and assisting guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional and timely manner, while following high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction. This position will anticipate guest needs, exceed expectations, and implement creative solutions to provide exceptional service while complying with brand standards. Proactive thinking, keeping guest security always in mind, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.

  • Assisting guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional and timely manner
  • Following high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction

  • Implementing creative solutions to provide exceptional service while complying with brand standards
  • Proactive thinking, keeping guest security always in mind
  • Creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment
  • Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift
  • Checking the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
  • Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests
  • Processing guest registrations, including collecting payment
  • Maintaining room status inventory
  • Communicating all pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff
  • Maintaining and cleaning the lobby and bathroom as needed
  • Communicating all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition
  • Working closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service
  • Answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
  • Explaining in-room and hotel features
  • Completing all required shift paperwork, and night audit reports daily
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management
